Do not fill the kettle with water less than 0.5 L or over the MAX line, to avoid boiling dry or overflowing.
DO NOT REMOVE THE LID while the kettle is boiling to avoid getting burnt by hot steam.
Water at boiling point can be extremely hot. It is advised that after hearing the whistle, which signifies boiling point, wait for some time (around 2 minutes) to let the temperature set before pouring.
DO NOT TOUCH any exposed metal part and make sure to hold the kettle by the nylon handle. Push the button to open the spout and pour water. NEVER manually open the kettle spout by hand for risk of scalding.
DO NOT leave the kettle UNATTENDED during heating. Do not fully rely on the whistle to remind you of a boiling kettle as the whistle may be silenced “on a rare occasion” due to moisture built up at the spout with frequent use. This happens to all types of whistling kettles.
DO NOT REMOVE THE LID immediately after boiling as escaping steam from the lid or spout may scald your hands. Wait for the kettle to fully cool down.
BOIL DRY is A HAZARD!!. NEVER leave the kettle empty on a hot burner as excessive heat may cause explosion or product discoloration.
DO NOT fill the kettle with water OVER THE MAXIMUM LEVEL INDICATOR to cause overflow of boiling water.
Supervision is required when the kettle is used by elderly or near children. Extreme caution must be taken when moving the kettle containing hot water. DO NOT use the kettle for other purposes. NEVER USE your teakettle in a microwave. DO NOT PLACE the kettle near electronic gadgets to prevent the risk of spillage.
WARNING: DO NOT USE on Stovetops with Power Boil or Accelerated Heating Systems. Accelerated Boiling generates extreme heat in a short span of time and may damage cookware components. Maximum 2100W heating power recommended.
ALWAYS CLEAN the outside and inside after every use. Leave the lid off after draining out all water. Air-dry the kettle after washing.
Abrasive cleaners NOT RECOMMENDED. Clean the kettle with a soft brush.
Tea Kettle is NOT DISHWASHER SAFE – Hand Wash only. DO NOT submerge the kettle in water.
To keep the shine on the outside of the Kettle, wipe it with microfiber cloth every day. It is NOT recommended to wash the outside with running water.
